This guide will familiarize guests with Lake Elsinore Casino’s house
rules, policies and procedures. We respectfully request that all guests abide
by the rules of common courtesy and adhere to proper card room etiquette.
Please –
? Act in a timely manner. Ask for time, if required.
? Act in turn. Clearly state your intentions, either physically or verbally.
? Act responsible. Use of foul, disrespectful, inappropriate or threatening
language or gestures will not be tolerated.
? All-in players are expected to clearly announce their intentions.
? Any player has the right to see ‘all calling hands’ after the
hand is completed.
? Assist the dealer in calling attention to an error. Otherwise allow the Dealers & Floor
personnel to do their job.
? Cards must be kept in plain site of the dealer and other players, at all
times. Cards are not allowed to be held below the table level or beyond the
edge of the table.
? Check & raise is permitted.
? Dead hands, cards that are no longer playable, are considered so when a player,
either physically or verbally, surrenders or discards them.
? Dealers may not accidentally ‘kill’ an exposed winning hand.
? Dealers may not influence, encourage or impede play in any form, either physically
or verbally.
? Discard your cards without disturbing the board, pot or other players’ hands.
? English only, while at the table.
? Exposed cards speak for themselves.
? Exposing cards while a hand is in progress is strongly discouraged.
? Follow the game action whenever you are participating in a hand.
? Intentional actions, either physically or verbally, that disrupt or disturb
the game will not be tolerated.
? One player to a hand and one hand to a player.
? Protect your hand at all times.
? Refrain from ‘splashing the pot’. Place chips neatly in front
of you, without mingling chips already in the pot.
? Refrain from commenting about other players’ style of play.
? Refrain from commenting about the hand in progress.
? Refrain from showing cards until requested to do so.
? Removing chips or money from the table is not allowed.
? Request a Floor persons decision whenever in doubt or unsure about a procedure
or rule.
? Slow rolling of cards is strongly discouraged. Winning hands should be shown
immediately.
Continued, intentional or flagrant misuse of rule infractions, etiquette or ethics violations whether unintentional or without the knowledge that such actions are improper will, at the Floor persons’ discretion, be grounds for disciplinary action which may include counseling or suspension. Upon review by the Casino Manager further action may be deemed necessary.
The Floor person’s decision is made without duress or influence and is an impartial interpretation and application of the rules for all intents and purposes, is final.
