POKER TERMS
Check-Raise - To waive the right to bet until a bet has been made by an opponent, and then to increase the bet by at least an equal amount when it is your turn to act.
Live Straddle - The player immediately after the big blind position making a raise before receiving any cards. This player has last ‘action’ after the player with the big blind. Players may not ‘live straddle’ a kill pot.
String-Raise - A wager made in more than one motion, without announcing a raise before going back to your stack for more chips (are not allowed).
From here down was "Glossary" from 3-card poke, so I want to be careful that they are general terms.
GLOSSARY:
ANTE: The mandatory wager players make
before seeing their hand.
BONUS BET: An optional jackpot bet for players who placed an ante bet and
paid
collection. Please see Bonus bet pay chart below.
FOLD: The player option to surrender his Ante, rather than continue in the game.
PLAY: An optional bet that players make after seeing their three-cad hand. The Play bet must equal the Ante bet.
PLAY WAGER: If players make the Play bet, it means they wish to enter the showdown against the player/dealer. If players decide not to make the Play bet they forfeit their Ante wager and are no longer in the game.

Straight Flush 40 to 1
Three of a Kind 30 to 1
Straight 6 to 1
Flush 3 to 1
One Pair 1 to 1
A Bonus bet equal to Ante bet must be placed on the Bonus bet spot to qualify
for Bonus Jackpot bet payout.
Bonus bet must be placed prior to the initial deal of the cards.
